Synthesis Mead combines fir honey and citrus honey with alpine spring water. It matures in fourth-pass oak barrels in an extremely dry environment that shapes its structure and complexity.
Its name holds a deeper meaning: synthesis as a crucible of ideas, as an essence made only of water, honey, and time. It is the first step in the research journey initiated by Mieli Thun in 2003, with the first experiments inspired by vinegar production that marked the beginning of the mead’s history.
