We follow the example of bees and work every day to make Mieli Thun increasingly sustainable.
For designing and developing packaging, Mieli Thun has chosen to follow ecological guidelines.
- Where possible, we use recycled materials.
- We are researching alternative solutions to reduce, and in some cases eliminate, the plastic still present in PVC labels, squeezers, and buckets.
- Every day we explore new compostable solutions.
- Reduce, reuse, and recycle are the goals we are committed to pursuing together with you.
Every choice matters, and those of Mieli Thun reflect commitment and responsibility.
- We have eliminated all unnecessary plastic packaging.
- The shipping packaging is completely recycled and recyclable.
- The containers for honey and other products are composed of 90% glass and metal.

- Remove the label.
- Recycle the glass jar.
- Recycle the metal lid.
- Consult your local municipality’s rules for waste sorting.
