Pollen is the male part of the flower, small particles, often rounded and uniquely shaped for each plant, that allow cross-fertilization and promote biodiversity. For bees, it is the food par excellence, essential especially for the brood.
The pure and natural Mieli Thun pollen is collected using special traps placed at the entrance of the hive: upon returning from their collection flight, the bees touch grids with their hind legs that gently detach the pollen granules, causing them to fall into the container below.
